Our fire district
The Tasman Sea pounds away at the deserted shoreline between Plimmeton and Pukerua Bay. It is about 3km between the end of the road and Waiaraka Point (in the far distance) from both ends. People seem to find it a convenient place to light fires they don't put out properly - the further from the road the better !!!
